This post could be called “A Fresh Start”, since I deleted all of my posts and am starting fresh. I get really tired of the navel-gazing, sometimes.
My goal is to turn this into a repository of recipes and lifestyle hacks for anyone going gluten-free, FODMAP, or paleo/primal. There will always be SOME navel gazing, of course!
Today’s recipe is Baked Eggs, courtesy of Ina Garten. The original recipe is here.
I find rosemary to be a little like turpentine sometimes, so I omitted it here. Thyme and parsley are more than enough herb power to make this a fantastic, flavorful dish. It was so good and so cheap!
Basically, you put a little bit of cream and butter into a ramekin or small casserole dish, put it under the broiler for a few minutes, then crack in two or three eggs per dish. Top with a mix of fresh garlic and herbs, salt and pepper, and pop back under the broiler for another five to six minutes.
What results is awesome!
Try it. You won’t be disappointed!
